Born in Manchester, NH,
David Maynard has been an avid student throughout his life
and began writing his first book in high school. After graduating
from Lehigh University and majoring in Mechanical Engineering
and Philosophy he worked both as a field sales engineer and
a database administrator in the Boston area before moving
to New York City a year and a half ago. Since then he has
been attending acting classes at the School for Film and Television
and Michael Howard Studios and is currently pursuing careers
in acting, modeling and dance. He has had experience at all
four New York soap operas, was a waiter at the restaurant
at the Hudson hotel, and has spent the last year as a personal
trainer both independently and at New York Sports Clubs.
David is an ardent reader of philosophy
and has written several extensive philosophical treatises,
as well as an epic novel, all of which he is in the process
of trying to get published here in NY through major editors.
Although he misses the engineering salary, he's confident
that moving to New York and starting with a clean slate is
the best move he's ever made. |
